29 Nov, 2024Felix is a great front desk receptionist. Greets you the minute you arrive with a big smile. He reminded me of the good old days. ( nostalgia)Very friendly, people person, great energy and very attentative. If you have any problems with your room. he will direct you to the manager if he can't assist. The manager is awesome . He takes care of any concerns in a timely fashion and his nick name is biggy. Real nice personality. We really enjoyed our stay it was quite. I'm glad we went there after it was recommended to us and we now recommend family and friends.

29 Sep, 2024I first off want to say that my first impression of this hotel made my entire trip, solely based off the excitement and hospitality of Felix. That guy is a god send to travelers with amazing recommendations which we did everything he recommended from food to activities and we were not disappointed! My only complaint was the water was not hot. We put in a maintenance request and they fixed it, but it only got slightly warmer which was more doable than the original cold water. Overall our stay was amazing and we will definitely be staying here for our next trip. Huge convince with the transit bus right outside the hotel taking us right into NYC for only $5 saved us a ton of money!

16 Nov, 2024We arrived in the afternoon got up to the room. Had to turn on the air condition? Which sounded like a 747, taking off, went down to the front desk to be told we had to wait. After 20 min, We then were relocated to a new room. Settled in turned on the TV the pixels run right through it. needs to be replaced? The woman at the front desk was less than helpful. These are hotels, not resorts. I understand we come here to sleep and leave peace and quiet. Essential, and the t v that works helpful.

28 Nov, 2024It's hard to know how many stars to give the Hilton Garden; it's not a resort and doesn't pretend to be. People aren't going to be hanging out there all day and night. But for the 3 star hotel it is, it's really really nice, clean & pleasant and I'm giving it 4 stars. It's not your average 3 star hotel. This is a hotel off of I95 but when you get here, it's quiet and clean & seems far from the highway. The entrance area & breakfast area is very pleasantly designed, very comfortable seating & pleasing colors. The hotel is angled so the rooms are not facing the highway. The room windows & curtains block out the noise & morning light. The AC actually kept the room warm, & was pretty quiet! We got a good night's sleep. We even had a fridge in our room that was sizeable & functioned very well (which was nice bc we always carry food with us when traveling). Breakfast, as noted by others, was very good, healthy choices. We are Marriots Reward so the breakfast was free. The man at the front desk when we arrived and the woman who checked us out the next morning were both very pleasant, and so was the person running the breakfast area. I really do recommend this hotel. Yeah, I'd say the location is very good; we wanted a convenient place to stop on our drive and continue home early the following morning. But getting there, getting to Challenger Road was in fact a challenge. Some of this might be the fault of the municipality Ridgefield Park, which as a town does a miserable job of signage and road paint. In the day it' could be much easier. But we phoned while we were on the highway & asked the exit number & the person who answered (not the front desk) gave the wrong exit #. That said, I think this hotel should provide very clear written driving instructions to the hotel from I-95 N and S on people's reservations.

13 Oct, 2024Nice Hotel. The bed was comfortable and it had a 50” or larger TV while the rest of the room was on the new side and ordinary. The service was fine. On downside was that the breakfast wasn’t free - over $8 for a continental breakfast and over $11 for a complete breakfast.
