04 Dec, 2024Had a good time at the hotel. The rooms were good and location excellent. As for other reviews it's worth putting this into context... In New York service isn't the same as other cities and can appear rude plus the hotels are generally of a lower standard but that's typical of New York in my experience unless you want to stay at the plaza. The hotel itself is clean, busy, no issues with lifts at all and I had no issues with the smoking detection thing. Remember any hotel in New York will charge you the taxes and fees that some have reported as unexplained (about $40 a day).

05 Dec, 2024Stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The location is very convenient. The hotel is charming and comfortable. There was a gentleman interested in entering women’s rooms during unsavory hours of the night and friends of mine staying a few doors down the hallway had plumbing issues. All was promptly addressed by the security team and the cleaning crew.

24 Nov, 2024We had a fantastic stay here after 2 days of flight cancelations and delays, so i was a bit stressed when i got to the hotel, but our room was perfect, we requested a kettle had it in our room within 5 mins, room was serviced daily, elevators were a dream.. I would have no hassle recommending this hotel to anyone.. We had food in the restaurant/bar which was tasty and plentiful.. Staff were so nice! cannot fault this hotel at all!

16 Oct, 2024I am an experienced traveller and I don’t want to discount others’ experiences but I am here for a few nights and there are four working elevators, rooms are quiet and super clean, check-in was extremely fast and so on. I almost cancelled because of the poor reviews but I can’t imagine what the problem is. Give me another day or two and maybe I’ll amend the review; however I am here for business every couple of months and this is a really solid hotel - confused about the elevator complaints. Maybe today was my lucky day? I’ll revise if necessary tomrrow!

16 Nov, 2024We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this hotel! The hotel itself is very spacious and modern, the rooms were big, and the staff was responsive and friendly! We had a baby with us and they accommodated many odd requests! The location was also wonderful — close to Time Square, the subway, and Central Park. We also booked directly through the hotel website and got a great deal. Would highly recommend!
