05 Dec, 2024Before the pandemic, I stayed here and was very satisfied with everything. This time, I chose to stay here again, but I was extremely disappointed. The room is very small, with only one bed, and it's quite cold. I turned the heating up to the maximum, but I found the air conditioning was very dirty, filled with dust, which caused my skin to become irritated and dry. Additionally, there was only one clothes hanger in the room, and many details were poorly managed. Considering the over $100 per night charge, this experience feels unjustified. The lobby used to provide hot water and tea, but now there is only cold water, with no coffee or tea available. The soundproofing is also poor; I was frequently disturbed by people using the elevator and talking outside at night, which kept me from getting a good night's sleep. When I checked out the next day, another lady was arguing with the front desk staff. She was very unhappy with the hotel's service, stating that she had booked two nights but was being asked to leave, which made her very angry. Overall, my experience this time was not good, and I hope the hotel can pay more attention to service quality and detail management.

16 Oct, 2024Stay was great for the 5 days I was in NYC. Room was a bit small but great nonetheless. I had a nice view of the city skyline. Walking distance from most places were accessible and also from the subway. The staff was friendly. Only suggestion is room service when requested and updated pricing on the vending machines.

31 Oct, 2024Grandview was the cheapest option for 2 for our trip to Flushing, so we decided to book it. Overall the room isn’t bad and the bathroom was nice! The floors in our room did have a greasy feeling to them, so bring your own slippers or socks. Their free wifi was also very weak, but we were able to get their stronger wifi which was still a bit spotty, but it still worked. Luckily they have a Roku smart TV and was able to run Netflix fast and easy which saved our stay there. And for some reason, every night we went out, our room card would stop working and we’d need to get it reactivated every-night which was strange and tiring to have to keep going to the lobby after a long day out. Here some other points I also wanna include; POSITIVES: - Clean modern looking bathrooms - Bus stop is right outside the hotel, or you can have a workout and walk 15ish minutes to Flushing’s hot spots! NEGATIVES: - Sink was slow to drain - You can hear everything in the hallways - Traffic can be loud sometimes - Room service is by request only, so if you need any towels or your room cleaned, you’ll need to notify the staff in lobby. Overall the stay wasn’t too bad, but in the future we would look into other options.

19 Jul, 2024This was my go-to hotel when I was working in nearby flushing meadows park. The first two visits were good but the remaining 3 were less than ideal. This hotel has a few things going for it... free not guaranteed parking and within walking distance to a few food places. After my second visit I started to noticed the lack of hotel etiquette. People were playing music from their rooms at all hours of the night and I could smell the strong order of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. It became so bad I had to close the bathroom door at night. I am hoping things will change because this hotel is in a very convenient location when I return to the area next year.

18 Oct, 2024Nice people, remember to ask if you want your room to be cleaned. He was very nice about it. A bit of a walk from the 7 train. Otherwise clean. Bring a wall adapter to charge your phone.
