Praveen Hospital Lane, New York, NY 10032, United States, New York, usa
The hospital's origin can be traced to a 1769 commencement address by Samuel Bard, a graduate of the University of Edinburgh Medical School and professor of medicine, which was delivered to the first two medical doctors to graduate from King's College, now Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, titled “A discourse upon the duties of a physician, with some sentiments on the usefulness and necessity of a public hospital.” New York City leaders later pledged one thousand pounds sterling to the hospital's creation.[8]
Later the same year, on November 3, 1769, Peter Middleton reported on progress with the hospital's creation in another address to King's College, stating “the necessity and usefulness of a public infirmary has so warmly and pathetically set forth in a discourse delivered by Dr. Samuel Bard... that his Excellency, Sir Henry Moore immediately set on foot a subscription for that purpose to which himself and most of the gentlemen present liberally contributed.” [9] Soon thereafter, the new Governor of the Colony, John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore through the interposition of Lieutenant Governor Cadwallader Colden started a fund for the establishment of such a hospital.

07 Jul, 2024Extremely slow!!! Came in at 2PM & it’s just about midnight now and I have yet to be seen by a Doctor smh Never again! I was told that CT scan results can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. The medical personnel here are literally just dragging their feet and barely doing anything in the emergency department. Absolutely no communication or updates.

17 Sep, 2023Horrible treatment on 9/16 I came to this hospital waited 3 hours and more to be seen. On 9/17 I was seen in the ER the nurse was horrible. I was left with an empty IV drip for a while. She dismissed me when I was seeking some assistance. That nurse knew I was pregnant. She didn’t even bother to check in once in a while. I seen people wait 2 hours for discharge papers.

31 Oct, 2023The truth is that when an institution is made up of people who are really committed to the service and well-being of people, it shows! I filed a complaint with this platform which in less than 24 hours was taken into account and I am quite happy that it was so because it shows that they are people who are at the service of people and willing to improve and maintain the quality in their institution, very good work and I hope that it always stays that way, that they are one of the most prestigious places and with such good human quality, congratulations for your management definitely this hospital has the best manager and people in charge!!!!

05 Feb, 2024Never have seen such rude, uncaring, cruel, judgemental nurses! This hospital has the worst nurses (maybe not all but allot) I've ever came in contact with! As a person with congested heart failure I will rather die at home then step foot in this hospital again!
