10 Nov, 2024Nice hotel, Manhattan prices so you can't really say it's value for money but you know you're paying for location, you should get a $10 allowance for hotel snacks to be used each day, if you don't use it then you lose it so worth grabbing a drink or some crisps or chocolate. Staff were OK, one lady other first day was somewhat rude, but otherwise they were pleasant enough. I am writing this with a charge outstanding on my credit card which I don't know what it's for but I won't mark down the hotel because of this. Overall a good hotel.

04 Dec, 2024Unfortunately, my experience was not as expected. When I checked in on August 8, 2024, one of the staff members took a cash deposit from me. However, they did not provide a receipt for the transaction. I was in a rush at the time and did not ask for one, but I later realized the importance of having proof of the deposit. Since that time, I have been waiting for my money to be refunded, but despite my repeated inquiries, nothing has been done yet. I have reached out to the accounting department on multiple occasions, but I have not received any resolution. I also emailed the team and requested that they review the security camera footage from the day of my check-in to verify the deposit. However, there has been no response or progress on this matter. It is now December 2024, and I am still waiting for my refund, which has caused considerable frustration. It was my first stay in any hotel.

01 Dec, 2024Horrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel I wish I could give zero stars for this disaster of a hotel. The rooms were ridiculously small and outdated—definitely not what you’d expect for the price. It felt like stepping into a time capsule, but not in a charming way. The management was absolutely awful—completely unprofessional and unhelpful. The elevators were terrifyingly noisy, clearly had mechanical issues, and eventually broke down. We had no choice but to take the stairs up to the 15th floor, which was beyond unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were plenty of rooms available, so it’s not like the hotel was fully booked or overwhelmed. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. Save yourself the trouble and stay anywhere else!

01 Dec, 2024I stayed here recently and was extremely disappointed with my experience. Despite rooms being available, I was not given an upgrade. The room I stayed in was very old and incredibly noisy, making it impossible to sleep. The elevator was so outdated and scary that it felt like it could be my last ride. Additionally, I had to take the stairs from the 15th floor despite having had knee surgery two months ago, as the elevator felt unsafe. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. My stay was uncomfortable and distressing, and I will not be returning.

05 Nov, 2024The front desk staff have been great and very professional however it's clear that the rooms are not maintained well or as pictured when booking online. After switching from a dirty room (and as someone who has worked in hotels and now private cleaning for years..) I can confidently say that the room standard of this hotel is incredibly poor and embarrassing to the Hilton brand name. The view of times square is a joke and the rooms are gross. Hair on the floor, so much dust and surfaces that obviously have not been cleaned in a long time, mold in the shower and caulk, very poorly made bed and stains on sheets ... I would never let a guest or client of mine check in to a room like this and I'm honestly shocked that the housekeeping and maintenance managers think this is an acceptable standard for the location and price of this hotel.
