NYC Health + Hospitals is the nation’s largest municipal health care delivery system in the United States dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.
We are an integrated network of hospitals, community-based health centers, long-term care and rehabilitation facilities, home care services, correctional health services and a health plan, MetroPlus. Our diverse team of health care professionals – 45,000 strong – provide culturally responsive care to more than one million patients every year in more than 70 patient care locations across the five boroughs of New York City.
As a safety net health system, we are committed to making health care accessible and affordable. We focus on health and wellness with an emphasis on keeping communities healthy, not just treating injury or illness. We advance health equity by consistently addressing social determinants of health, ensuring workforce diversity and creating models of care that remove barriers for special populations experiencing a disproportionate burden of illness.
Our skilled clinicians offer the full continuum of care including primary care, urgent care, behavioral health and specialty services in every area of medicine to improve the health of the communities we serve and help all New Yorkers live their healthiest life.

26 Sep, 2024Worst hospital experience ever- complete waste of 3 days of life I will never get back! Where do I start? - Rude, condescending, haughty unprofessional belittling unhelpful incompetent nurse. - Dr. Tanner did absolutely nothing for me, and I only saw him one time in 3 days. I only received Motrin after I let them know I was leaving, and was literally screaming in pain so loudly that other patients advocated on my behalf. - No food. I only received 2 decent breakfasts in 3 days. No ice. Seriously, literally ridiculous. - My room that was shared with an absolute psychopath had BLACK MOLD growing on the HVAC grate. - Need I say more? Had to check myself out!

26 Jul, 2024The guards who write parking tickets to acs vendors parked in the acs vendor spot all park their personal cars in no standing/ambulance only zones, causing traffic in an ambulance zone, why is it that vendors with designated parking spots get tickets but the bellevue police can park in non designated zones taking up ambulance spots? Attached is examples of PO Best parking his base model ram in a no standing zone after ticketing acs vendors in their designated spots. I have emailed bellevue HR about it but never received any word on the outcome. The base model ram is the “officer’s” vehicle and the tan one is the vendor’s vehicle, read the signs behind both vehicles.

29 Sep, 2024I was suffering from severe depression in 2019 got brutally assaulted by staff and Security Got my face smash into the ground concussion bruised on my arms face Got arrested to for first time ever Jan 28 30 They cover up what they did to me on those days. All is forgiven on my side. I will never step foot in hospital again. If my life was on line. I will refuse to go to hospital any treatment of medical stuff. There no ill hard feelings towards them. When the hospital reviews this which I know they will. Run my name and u will see what happen to me.I will never in my rest of my life I will seek anything from this hospital. If I have to go to ER for anything I would refuse it. I would never want the ppl at that hospital ever put there hands on me again. Please do not respond to my review about what happen to me.

25 Nov, 2024My recent appointment was fast and efficient but I never felt rushed or that the doctor or staff wasn't giving me the best individualized care.

29 Jul, 2024I love some of the Doctors here but the ones I have are the greatest. Even though they are supposed to see you for 15minutes my doctors take they time and explain everything to me and even listen (and cry with me) to my problems that has nothing to do what I have came here for. There are some good doctors that really care for their patients they look at me as a person and not a paycheck (or just a number) when I become a number to my doctors I will leave. These Administrators need to understand that we are people too ( they have to look at us and treat us the way they would want these doctors to treat their family).
