04 Dec, 2024The booking staff was tremendously gracious in allowing me to switch from the top bunk to a bottom bunk. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but it was really hard to climb up and down without fear of slipping. The linen could use some replacement though. I used my coat instead of the blanket. The blanket had so many lint pills on it, they ended up on my pj's. Otherwise everything was great. Awesome location. Would definitely come back again. With earplugs...

04 Dec, 2024I thought the staff was unprofessional asking my personal information in front of another customer. Not only is that a personal concern it's a safety issue. Along with allowing all customers gave access to all floors. While I understand that the rooms have a private access number, floors are available to all customers. This includes males, which I felt very uncomfortable with since I was in an all female dorm on an all female floor. The "AI" personnel also loudly announced my information and requested more private information with disregard to my safety and security. Overall I'll give the experience a 2/5. The rooms were clean but very cramped and barely any privacy to use the bathroom. If not for the cleanliness of the room and location I would've asked for a refund and found another spot to sleep. But I would not recommend someone to NapYork

30 Nov, 2024Positives: price, location, cleanliness, bathrooms, privacy, staff. Negatives: need your own pad lock. The whole process was very smooth. Everything is automated so just stick to the info you got from them. There is a separately bathroom for each room. My room had 6 beds for female only. Unlike all the other regularnie hotels, you have bored bunk beds, which seem like coffins at first but actually provide a lot of privacy. Has its own little lamp inside and a bunch of power outlets to charge your devices (some of them didn't work though). You have a privacy screen/curtain so can't see light or ladies walking around. You have a small locker in the room for your stuff but you need your own pad lock to lock it. You have clean sheets and a towel ready. The bathroom is spacious, however the shower is in the same lockable room as the toilet to if you need to pee while someone is taking a shower... well you gotta wait. There is a little common area witha kitchen and tables to have your breakfast or whatever you have with you. You can also leave your luggage in a 'storage ' area' which is really a chain on the wall in the hallway, for which you need your own padlock, but still... good option if you don't want to carry/drag the damn thing around the city after you check out but before your flight/train/bus. All in all, very handy option for budget travellers.

28 Nov, 2024I was apprehensive because signing up and getting information was so impersonal. But once there, the staff were helpful. Security was very good. The pod mattress was very comfortable and I slept better than other hotels and hostels.

04 Sep, 2024Excellent self-catering option for budget travellers. Check-in/out couldn't have been more smooth. Staff were friendly. For me, the option to stay on an all-female floor was ideal. Individual pods, shower, toilet and sink area were all well maintained. Communal kitchen & lounge area is modern and inviting. Lockers are spacious, all you need is your own gym-style padlock. Location is superb, whether you're walking or taking the subway/bus/taxi to your destination. I'd definitely stay there again.
