12 Dec, 2024There's construction men, in masks, actively sawing plankwood in the middle of the gym (while gym goers have no masks). The machinery is loud and there's sawdust everywhere in the air. They're also renovating the stairs.... while people are walking on and off of it?! Is this even compliant with health code? I had a horrible workout and had to leave early.

24 Oct, 2024This place is incredibly frustrating to work out at on a time crunch. All of the staff members, on the clock or not, are just standing around and socializing with the people working out. While this isn’t bad, making others take up equipment for more time so you can carry on a conversation is not cool at all and is not good for members who are patiently waiting on equipment. I waited for a squat rack today and 2/3 of the racks were occupied by members who were too busy chatting with Crunch employees, some of which were not even on the clock. I eventually had to leave after waiting an hour. I’ve noticed this for months but today was its worst by far. Bottom line: it’s not cool for me to wait on equipment because the members occupying them are being approached and chatted up by Crunch employees. Like I said, they have been doing this for months. I’m over this and looking for a new gym ASAP.

03 Dec, 2024I came to the Union Square location to set up my membership. Christopher was super helpful and was able to get me a great deal that fit my needs. I didn't feel pressured into adding any extras to my membership and the whole process of signing up was fast. This Crunch also has Woodway treadmills, which are great.

03 Dec, 2023This gym is a total win! Two floors packed with all the gear you need – A large range of cardio equipment, machines and free weights. Personal training is on point, and the sauna and showers are a great way to relax after a workout. If you want a fitness spot that's got it all, this is the place. Just be prepared to have to wait for machines as it can be really busy (depending what time you go).

09 Feb, 2023I entered the gym at 5:30pm on a Thursday and was welcomed by an intense smell of foot, sweat and humidity. This smell was so strong that my nose never adjusted and I was continuously disgusted during my entire workout. Additionally this gym was very crowded and disorganized. Weight training equipment is shoved into any corner it fits with little regard to flow and organization. It was hard to find what I needed since many accessories were randomly scattered around the gym. Lastly, this location suffers from poor gym etiquette with members not de-racking barbells or wiping up after themselves.
