15 Oct, 2024The food and flavors were amazing. We took the set menu, which was perfect because we don’t know much about this cuisine and it was the perfect choice. Staff was ok. Big minus: it was so fast! They sent all the dishes with almost no time to eat in between them and the table was too small to have them all on. It was very overwhelming and it felt like they wanted to get us out of there.

28 May, 2024FINALLY a good Vietnamese restaurant in Lower Manhattan. I was happily surprised to see the regional hard-to-find dishes. They did them very well, and we loved everything we tried. Definitely worth a visit! Our favorites were the Ban It Ram and Shrimp/Sweet Potato

24 Nov, 2024The food was excellent! I particularly enjoyed the Roasted Five-Spiced Duck, Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef), and Banh It Ram (Crispy Mochi Dumpling). Each dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared.

14 Aug, 2024Outdoor summer dinner with coworkers who are not Vietnamese, so they left the ordering to me. So I kind of got one dish from each region. Banh beo, bo luc lac (shaking beef), lemongrass beef tartare with crispy rice cracker, cha ca la vong (turmeric branzino), and mi vit tiem (five piece duck). I thought everything was good, 4.5⭐ (not quite 5). The coworkers thought the lemongrass beef tartare was the best among the dishes. Service was good 4 ⭐, not necessarily amazing. Overall, a very good option for Vietnamese in Manhattan, or at least certainly this part of town. Very close to authentic -- there's just a slight modern touch.

12 Nov, 2023Had a good dinner at Van Ða! Downstairs had more seating, but the other table of 4, was way too loud or high that it was bothering to enjoy the meal. Fish was very crispy, and the sauce was so good👌🏻 duck was a little too sweet, in my opinion. I wish the noodle portion was a little bit bigger. Service was really good and informative.
