20 Nov, 2024There’s nothing 4 stars or below about this restaurant. The food is absolutely gorgeous and the taste 100% matches with the presentation. What I love oat is the creativity behind the ingredients combination that brings brand new flavors and texture that are so hard to describe because I’ve never had anything like that before! It’s truly one of a kind. The tasting menu has the perfect number of courses that makes me feel satisfied but not stuffed, the perfect taste of healthiness.

11 Nov, 2024The few vegan dishes on the menu were very well thought out. I appreciated the creativity, especially with the kelp-based caviar and the cauliflower dish that cleverly mimicked the texture and flavor of tuna—both were excellent. However, the omnivore options didn’t quite meet my expectations, particularly the pork jaws. On a positive note, the sommelier was fantastic and provided some great wine recommendations.

15 Nov, 2024One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food is absolutely incredible, the cocktails are great, and there is a wide variety of wines. The duck was unforgettable. Unfortunately, I forgot the bartender's name, but she was very attentive and sweet.

25 Nov, 2024As part of our trip I wanted to bring our friends to experience a Michelin Star restaurant, but one that would still give them flexibility with an à la Carte menu. We choose Musket Room recognized as a 1 Star by Michelin Guide let us see how it went. THE GREATER THAN- We started with the ‘Breads & Spreads’ choosing both spread options, the anchovy spread really stole the show with the Smoked Ricotta being a close second. The rest of the starters we choose ‘Jamón Ibérico’ & the ‘Hamachi Crudo’ were both great as well. The ‘Wagyu Beef’ was simply unbelievable but the ‘Ora King Salmon’ was the absolute star of the experience. THE LESSER THAN- Our server was unbelievably rude and treated us as if we had no business in “her restaurant”. She presented a feature dish as if it were a main course when it was a starter (which I ordered as a main), any time we asked a question we were met with condescension and shortness. I have never been more angry in a restaurant in my life. FINAL COMMENTS- The food was quite good and as Michelin grades almost solely on that fact it is hard to consider service, but this is New York where if you aren’t great your doors are closed. So I am at a loss for how to find a way to positivity, though I am hopeful that this is an isolated incident it was a catalyst point for our trip that went very poorly. #foodie #yegfoodie #edmontonfoodie #nycfoodie #nyc #canadianfoodie #michelin #michelinstar #newyork #wagyu #salmon #pipelinefoodie

21 Sep, 2024I’m a firm believer that going out to dinner in NYC should be an experience that ticks all the boxes. The Musket Room does just that. I’m a vegetarian, so I ordered the vegan menu. The food wasn’t just delicious, but so unique in flavor. For 80% of the dishes, I’d never tasted anything like them before, and that’s what made this experience so exceptional. The service was also 10/10 and the atmosphere is excellent. I will be dreaming of this food for the foreseeable future and can’t wait to be back!
