17 Nov, 2024We stayed at the Hyatt for six nights in June 2024. While the location was excellent and the service was decent, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations. The room was very small for the price and brand name, and the amenities were basic. Noise was also an issue, making it hard to relax. Breakfast was average, but nothing stood out. It’s perfect for business trip not holidays. Overall, the stay was fine, but we expected more for the cost and the Hyatt reputation. It’s a decent choice if location is your main priority

01 Dec, 2024The location is very convenient, and the hotel itself is nice. Unfortunately, I was placed next to a group of teenagers who returned every night at 4 AM, making a lot of noise, so I ended up waking up at that time each day. I tried the breakfast on the first morning, which cost $55, but it was disappointing and not worth the price. The best breakfast spot was across the street at Pershing. For about $30, you can enjoy a delicious hot breakfast there.

23 Nov, 2024Excellent location. Rooms and public areas are a little tired showing some signs of wear and tear, and possibly a lack of attention to upkeep. Stained carpet and loose outlets covers are visible in the lobby. Cables running across carpet not properly covered, (possible trip hazard). Cables for outlets on tables hanging below. This is not a safety issue but perhaps shows a lack of attention to detail. Having said all this I would recommend this hotel for its location which is perfect easy access to grand central and always taxis out front.

29 Nov, 2024I’m so disappointed in this hotel. I made a reservation for me and my daughter during Black Friday deals. I was contacted saying that there was an “obvious pricing error” and the hotel would be canceled unless I paid hundreds of dollars more for the room. I pushed back, saying that the reservation was made in the context of big sales and in good faith. I asked if they could at least work with me to find a compromise. The hotel was close to a medical center where my 4 year old was having a procedure. Nope. Nothing. No compromise offered. Super disappointed.

02 Dec, 2024Lord, where do I begin? With the prices they are charging you'd think this place would go above and beyond, quite the opposite. My bed sheets were stained, dirty and even saw small blood drops, not wine. I had to ask them to be replaced, while on the phone I was cut off mid sentence and was told to hold to be transferred . While on hold I got nothing, I called back and nothing. I called housekeeping on my own and got an immediate response, person was a little short with me but the lady who arrived, changed my sheets fast and was nice. The house keeping lady the next morning was also pleasant. -Bathroom: Bugs in the shower, little flies, I mean wow. Trashcan where you walk, and it's hard to get your face close to the sink to wash your face because the ledge connected to the base of the mirror comes out over the top. Bad design -Room itself: large and overall decent. Small fridge, no waters, no microwave, no individual coffee, nothing that you'd normally expect from a high quality hotel. Chase lounge off to the side and TV awkwardly off center, no desk or proper seating area for working. Honestly it has the room for a full desk and chair still. Bad design After reading other reviews for the buffet, I wont even bother to go check it out. This place is convenient only for its location and barely at that, considering other choices and their prices. -Gym: Decent and has enough (good) machines and weights for most people. Little narrow of a room, (bad design like a lot of things) but it's got enough. 100% would avoid as there are way better options. This place seems to be banking on their brand name and location more than anything else. Disappointing for a Hyatt
