01 Nov, 2024short: STINKS! STINKS! STINKS! money-saving tip: If your nose can handle it, every month, one of the two plans waives the $59 startup fee as promotion. For classic that is four months free, and for black that is two months free. long: I did the rookie mistake of checking out the gym on a Sunday morning. The place was at about 25% capacity with a slight odor that was tolerable. I asked if they had any promotions, and I was informed that at the time they had promotion for the black and if I go back in a few days they might have a promotion for classic. Well October 1st, a Tuesday, came around and I joined on my phone. After work, I arrived slightly before 4:30pm, to get my picture taken and start working out. While I was signing documents and getting my picture a strong odor kept bothering me. I was thinking to myself it must just be by the front desk, so after I finished the registration process I decided to walk around the entire first floor, the same strong odor with the same intensity was everywhere. Then I walked to the second floor and same thing. The entire gym has the strong odor everywhere consistently. I thought I might have been overreacting so I go to a machine and adjust the weights and when I was about to sit down I thought to myself I can't do this. I walked back to the front desk and stated that I want to cancel. The person asked me why. I informed him because there is a very strong odor everywhere. He pointed to an air freshener and stated they gave several throughout the gym. I asked him if anyone before has canceled because it stinks? He replied no. I asked him if anyone else has complained about the order. He said yes, and added that they can't go up to people to tell them they smell. I explained to him that it's not one particular person making the entire two floors of the gym stink, there must be a problem with the ventilation. I asked him if they are broken or will be repaired. He replied no. I was contacted by someone at supremefitgrp that stated they will inform the management to keep the place clean.I highly do not recommend this location.

02 Nov, 2024I’ve been a loyal member of this PF for many years. It’s not fancy but it meets my needs. Sadly, the gym no longer provides air conditioning. It’s 81 degrees in the weight room and smells like an unwashed armpit. I would hate to have to find another gym but working out here has become a very uncomfortable experience.

28 Aug, 2024I originally signed up at this location in 2022. I came here a handful of times, but then changed to a different location closer to where I lived in Queens. I came back here a few days ago, and I immediately felt like I was home. I’m so glad I came back to this specific location, and I plan on traveling from Queens to this location specifically. I love the energy of the staff, the layout, and so much more. I cannot pinpoint any one specific thing. Friendly staff, great variety of equipment, and clean overall.

29 Jun, 2024The staff was helpful and friendly. The equipment is SO far out of date it’s ridiculous! No bathroom on the walk-in level. So, anytime you need to “go” you have to leave your work out and go down a flight of stairs. It is very inconvenient for those who have to take a diuretic! No bottle refill station to be seen on the lower or first floor. However, I didn’t go up the other two flights of stairs. Maybe it’s there. The gym equipment is in need of some maintenance……if it’s not going to be upgraded.
