About the Business
We keep it down-to-earth. We’re bound to start you off with something great to drink, alcoholic or not, and maybe some snacks while you look over the menu. We went to market this morning and we’re going to make some delicious home cooked food and listen to some groovy music. And we’ve put together an excellent collection of soulful wines, spirits, and fermented beverages that we’re excited to share with you. Book a table, or else snag some seats at the bar or communal table and perhaps even make some new friends. Or you can choose to sit at the kitchen counter and have dinner with us. At the end of the day, we’re having a few people over for dinner. We hope you’ll join us.

We had the room with the terrace and it was so nice to grab breakfast next door and enjoy the morning on the terrace in Manhattan. Central park around the corner and great location to explore mid town. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

25 Jun, 2024I can’t say enough… what a fabulous place this was to stay. We were in NYC getting married in and the team made it such a relaxing and wonderful stay from booking it through to being there. They upgraded us as we were getting married which was a wonderful surprise, they helped me get everything I needed from steamers through to many questions I had being answered promptly and the hotel and room is beautiful and very spacious for New York. The location is PERFECT, so close to a lovely part of New York and just a couple of blocks from Central Park. Felice, the restaurant next door is also delicious and all the staff really lovely too which is great to have on your door step. We won’t stay anywhere else now whenever we are in New York and we can’t thank all of the team for making it so special.

07 Oct, 2024The hotel is very well located, staff was very nice. However I did not sleep, first there is a constant noise like an electricity generator that is very disturbing. Apart from that and I totally blame the hotel for this, there is a very noisy construction just by my window (room 61) that started at 7am and that the hotel should have warned me about it. I have filmed it

24 Oct, 2024Like staying in a good Airbnb but definitely not a 4 star hotel. Cleaning has to be booked in advance. Hotel staff advised me to book the airport taxi with them, but when it was time to go and the roads were blocked, we received zero help with our luggage. When asked to help, the staff told us “no that’s not my job”.

21 Oct, 2024We have stayed in many hotels in NYC over the years, and this was the most disappointing. There was ZERO service, even the daily cleaning had to be self booked. There was essentially one staff member working in the hotel. No concierge. Literally nothing. The rooms were also super basic and it was loud in the room from the outside noise of the street. So many better (and cheaper) hotels in NYC, I would NEVER stay here again.
