05 Nov, 2024Edit: please report this hotel to the Better Business Bureau! They'll get your money back (and can enforce the hotel to maintain humane standards) I made the mistake of choosing this hotel and was recommended to leave on my first day! My boyfriend and I have a ritual of lifting up sheets, opening drawers and checking drains for bugs and over cleanliness. In our first room, there was actual piss in the shower (or the water was yellow), there were cigarettes burned into one of the blankets and bite marks in the other; I told the desk attendant and she gave us a new room. We check again and there was a wet cum stain on the blanket. I went back to her and the desk attendant told us "This is the kind of business I run. You're going to have a problem in every room, you should probably find another place to stay." I asked about a refund and she told me to talk to Hotels.com. My boyfriend and I left and stayed at The Manhattan in Times Square. I called Hotels.com and they called her to confirm the story. The minute the rep mentioned my name, the desk attendant stopped responding and now my refund is in limbo because of it. The location get 3 stars because there's an amazing little cafe and a bus stop about 5 mins from the hotel.

04 Oct, 2024Absolutely horrible experience. Booked for 2 nights, I left immediately the first night. Had a sketchy lady come to my room door saying it was her room. I asked the front desk to have her removed and they proceeded to ask the sketchy lady for ID to confirm if it was her room! I proceeded to ask for a security escort to get my wife and daughter safely out of the building and was denied. I immediately called the police who were thankfully able to safely escort my family and I out of the hotel/motel. Worst experience of my life. Stay away from this place! It is incredibly sketchy and unprofessional!

16 Oct, 2024The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s close to UBS Arena. But it’s still not worth staying here. I was woken up both nights I was there by people yelling in the hallway. And I don’t mean they were talking loudly, I mean they were mad about something and being belligerent about it. The service is also so unrealistically bad it’s not even funny. I left my jacket there, so I called them a couple hours after checking out to see if they had it. The girl told me they hadn’t cleaned the room yet, so she said to call back later. I called that evening and it just went straight to voicemail every time. I called the next day and a different guy answered, telling me again to call back later. I told him that this was me calling back later and I asked if he could call me. He responded “I don’t know your phone number.” I convinced him to let me leave my phone number, but to no one’s surprise, he never called me back. He’s probably wearing my jacket right now. Another thing: I checked in at about 1 a.m., and when I entered my room I noticed it was a little chilly. I went over to the window and realized it was left wide open with no screen or anything — and the room was on the first floor. Had I not noticed it, someone could have entered through the window in the middle of the night. That’s all in addition to the fact that the whole place smells like weed, the location is so unsafe that the front desk workers have to be behind bulletproof glass, the rooms aren’t clean, the blankets are paper-thin, the bedsheet had a cigarette burn in it and the bathroom didn’t even have a towel rack or a toilet paper holder. Avoid this place like the plague because it probably carries the plague.

14 Sep, 2024Worst hotel experience of my life. The lobby smells like weed, cigarettes and urine and this smell is also in the rooms. The room itself had a sticky floor, a stained toilet and stained pillows, and pubic hair in the bathtub and on the walls. They refused to speak with Expedia after MULTIPLE communication attempts for a partial refund. Sleeping in your car is a far better alternative than at this location.

03 Aug, 2024The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and there’s been a lot in my 60+years. It was a remarkable experience; the smell was disgusting, the noise terrifying, the lack of lighting was probably so the dirt wasn't obvious. It is not a luxury hotel near the airport, I slept in my clothes including my shoes in case I had to run during the night; and then to top it all off the hair dryer took off the tip of my finger it had no cover on the back. I told the front desk they were unconcerned about my injury or someone else who may have a worse injury or lose their scalp. I will never fly through jfk again, flights cancelled continually, no close accommodations and taking m life in my hands was more than I could bare after flying across the pond and being up for 24 hours. Don’t book it staying in the airport would have be preferable.
